You have the idea but need the resources or talent pool to see it through? We have the platform.
We help shape the future by working closely with disruptive startup founders.
Not every PhD student in UCL has a path-breaking idea and is seeking opportunities to be a part of a startup’s success story.
We are passionate about supporting student entrepreneurship as we believe it can deliver real value and bring benefits to our economy. With the opportunities afforded by today’s technology, we see deep tech PhDs as the life-blood of innovation and ideally placed to launch startups since their research provides natural ‘barriers-to-entry’ for potential competitors.
Conception X programme is first-of-its-kind in the UK and at the forefront of culture change in university entrepreneurship. It has become a major catalyst for postgrad student entrepreneurship and research impact; and is attracting industry professionals interested in mentoring and partnering with students.
We are looking for companies with a passion for innovation and a desire to help student entrepreneurs embrace their full potential to achieve their goals. By supporting student entrepreneurs, together we can drive innovation and economic growth, boost student recruitment and help more young people fulfil their ambitions.
